I am a receptionist at Amersham Vale Practice. I am one of the receptionist that you speak to on the phone or face to face. 

Trained Care Coordinator which role includes answering phone calls to the practice, dealing with enquiries and sign-posting if relevant to onwards services. Also triage conditions, by completing a KLINIK form, gathering as much information from the patient to then pass on to a clinician to assess what advice to pass back to the patient to ensure a prompt safe solution to their medical enquiry.

I also deal with administrative duties, such as opening post to the practice, and scanning to system for the doctor to review.
